About Us

Plains Services was set-up in 2009, originally expanding on a pest control company, the contract cleaning division was incorporated and this grew the business steadily over the next few years.

By 2013 we moved in to our offices in Hucknall, there were 15 members of staff, and the company became a Limited Company – Plains Services (Nottingham) Ltd

Further additions of professional carpet cleaning, reach & wash window cleaning & gutter-vac services helped to develop the company offering, with an aim to provide an “all in one” cleaning service.

An increase in works for landlords and letting agents opened the door to providing a handyman & maintenance service where we tailor refurbishment & repair works to each client’s requirement.

By 2016, we have over 40 employed staff members covering the entire Nottingham area, all fully insured, DBS checked and uniformed – providing all clients with a professional service. Our sign written vehicles can be seen at homes & businesses across the region.

The company culture is one where “service matters” and we are first to admit that at times things do not always go as planned, however, as a company, we are confident that our response time is first class and today in line with that culture.

We have been setting standards in the cleaning industry for many years now and are planning that this will continue with existing and new successful client contractor partnerships. We are developing staff monitoring systems to ensure our commercial clients are only billed for time spent on site.

Our office systems are paperless which includes all staff paperwork, client contracts, reviews & audits and callout reports.

We are still hands-on within the business operating, you won’t see us sat in the office in suits, we are regularly out in the field ensuring that the service we provide as a company continues to be what we would expect.
